We did it! My facebook fan page reached 1,000 likes. This is just so awesome and none of it would have been possible without each and every one of my followers.
And to celebrate this fan-freakin-tastic occasion I'm holding a giveaway for a Kindle Paperwhite.
Giveaway is open to INTERNATIONAL entrants (if the Amazon Kindle Paperwhite can not be shipped to your country, you will receive $139 paypal cash). The winner will be notified via email and will have 48 hours to respond, otherwise a new winner will be chosen.
Holy sugar sticks! I can’t believe the year is almost over! It's time to reflect on my favorite reads of 2013.
Last year I put together a list of My Top 5 Favorite Authors of 2012, but this year I thought I’d do something a little different. As far as books go, I’ve read so many that I loved this year. It was extremely hard to narrow it down to just a few favorites but I think I’ve finally done it. So here we go ...
Favorite book I read in 2013
This one is tough, but I think I have to go with Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor. This book was absolutely delightful and utterly devastating.
My first status update when reading this one was: "I can't stop giggling and reading my husband lines from the book. He doesn't think it's as funny, but hey, what does he know? :)"
The first word out on my mouth when I closed this book was: "Wow!"
Well, I don’t think I’m going to finish my overall reading goal of 75 books this year.As of today I’ve only managed to polish off 65, but I’m thrilled to report that I just completed my 2013 Indie/Small Press reading challenge!
The Challenge: To read 50 Indie/Small Press books in 2013.
I love this challenge.I’m always finding some ‘new to me’ authors that make it to my favorites list and this year I’ve definitely found some! If you’re looking for your next read, then check out the below list of fantastic indie authors.
Note: Books are listed alphabetically by author last name and are linked to the books Goodreads page. Click on more to read my full Goodreads review.

Adams, Sarah Crushing On The Enemy (Crushing On You, #1) My Review ~ 3 of 5 stars
Crushing on the Enemy was a cute story of a nice girl meeting a sweet boy. Typically this is exactly the kind of book that I love. Sweet love story, with sweet characters. Unfortunately, some parts just fell flat for me. Alyssa meets...more
Boring, Belinda The Mystic Wolves (Mystic Wolves, #1) My Review ~ 4 of 5 stars
Danger, mystery, and an awesome romance … Yep, this book had it all. We start out The Mystic Wolves meeting Darcy, the future mate of Mason, the Mystic Wolves alpha, and I loved her right from the start. She’s fun, has a sense of humor...more
